Rules, respect, responsibility
We learn about responsibility, showing a good example by doing our jobs.
We continue to work on understanding how to show respect in various situations, at home, at school, at play.
Students observe a drawing and we write a sentence about it collectively.

Classroom Responsibilities
There is a list of weekly responsibilities for students. We rotate through this list so that everyone has an opportunity to participate. Responsibilities range from turning lights on and off to being line leader, from cleaning up in the classroom to being a messenger, from closing and opening the blinds to recording the weather. Some responsibilities occur multiple times throughout the day, others are less frequent. We all have a job to do!
In addition, each table group has a group leader. This job also changes weekly. Group leaders mainly hand out and collect items.
Class DojoIn Quarter 1, students need to get 10 points daily to earn play time at the end of the class day. Students bring ONE toy from home and it stays in the classroom for the week. Students can exchange the toy at the end of the week, bringing in another toy from home.

Clothing
Students in our elementary school are to wear the uniform. On special occasions, students will be able to wear clothing of their choice.
Students not wearing the uniform will receive notification. Please note that students will not be sent to the office to change muddy or wet clothing. If your child often soils their clothing, they are advised to keep a change of clothes in the classroom. |
